Harvest of the Month (HOTM) is an interactive, educational tasting kit program that allows teachers to take the lead on food and farming education. This model allows students to taste fresh, local fruits and vegetables while learning about the farmers who grew them, empowering them to make healthy choices.

In-Class Tasting Kit Program

Serving Sonoma and Marin Counties!

HOTM tasting kits are delivered once per month and contains enough seasonal produce for an average size class to taste, a farmer profile, an identification sheet and a Network for a Healthy California nutrition education newsletter. CAFF hosts teacher trainings at the beginning of every school year to familiarize teachers with the program and demonstrate how it can be best integrated into their classrooms. Each class receives a starter kit and a poster to display the farmer profile.

Tasting Kits are $15 each! To learn more, open the Online Registration Form.

Sign Up Before September 1, 2017 and Receive a 5% Discount!
