The HEAL Project (THP) runs unique, hands-on, programming on the San Mateo County Coast in school classrooms, gardens and at the San Mateo County School Farm.

Our programs cultivate healthy lifestyle habits in students while inspiring environmental and agricultural awareness through a comprehensive, interactive curriculum.

Farm2Family Job summary

This part-time position will be responsible for the following:

●      Help to develop and run THP’s pilot Farm2Family food distribution program for families of students in our Intensive Garden Program.

●      Organize and distribute weekly food deliveries and educational materials aligned with existing THP lessons.

●      Collect and enter evaluation and tracking data for grant reporting.

●      Support partnership building and community outreach with the Spanish-speaking community of the San Mateo County coast.

●      Work with other THP Farm Educators to lead or co-lead farm field trips, camps and LiveStreamed lessons throughout the year.

●      Hourly pay differential for proficiency to communicate and provide instruction in both English and Spanish.
