Organic vegetable and apple production

An educational, hands-on experience in small-scale organic agriculture. Minimum 35 hours per week of field work and occasional educational discussions and field trips. Extensive practice in agricultural skills, from planning and field preparation through planting, weeding, harvesting and marketing, with opportunities to delve more deeply into areas of interest. Expect a serious, production-focused work environment and lots of repetitive manual labor. General Farm Description: Oz Farm is an organic farm and retreat center which has operated for over 20 years on the banks of the Garcia River in Mendocino County, Ca. We grow vegetables and heirloom apples for local markets, restaurants, and our CSA program. We provide education in sustainable agriculture for beginning farmers. We also host retreats and weddings
