The Homeless Garden Project is a nonprofit in Santa Cruz, CA that provides job training, transitional employment, and support services to people who are experiencing homelessness.
We operate a 3.5-acre organic farm that grows vegetables, fruits, flowers, and herbs. We run a CSA program with U-pick and Pick-up options as well as a farm stand. Items from our farm are also used in our line of value-added products, which includes food products (seasonings, baking mixes, jams) as well as bath & body products (soaps, lotions, salves). Our value-added products can be found at our retail stores in Santa Cruz as well as online store (shop.homelessgardenproject.org) and wholesale accounts (e.g. New Leaf Community Markets).
