We are a small family farm, owned by Jeff and Annie Main. We farm 30 acres of certified organic land in Northern California’s Yolo County. We have been farming organically since 1976, and our two daughters Alison and Claire joined the farming operation in 2016 helping us manage our fruit, vegetable, herb and flower production.
We have been selling direct at the Davis Farmers’ Market, the Davis and Sacramento Food Co-ops since 1976 and in 1993 we started our CSC program, which has helped us continue our commitment to direct and local marketing.
We have been working to build our farm from the ground up that provides food for people in our community. Our love of growing food, living on the less traveled path, and doing something meaningful came from generations of strong-minded individuals. Cooperation, communities, social change, food movement, and land stewardship have been our guiding beliefs.
