Our Impact
We helped generate $48 million in sales through local food purchasing programs, putting California-grown food on the plates of schools, hospitals, and retailers statewide.
We delivered emergency funds to 220 farmers hit by wildfire, flood, heat waves, and drought, with the majority going to BIPOC, first-generation, and immigrant farmers.
Across 12 gatherings and 72 workshops statewide, our California Small Farm Conference built community and shared knowledge, in both English and Spanish.
Our Ecological Farming Team provided hands-on technical assistance and field days for 450 farmers statewide, helping them build healthier soil, ecologically manage pests, and increase their resilience and adaptation to climate change.
CAFF helped secure funds for family farmers—from water access to urban agriculture to equipment sharing programs, while our SGMA outreach team met with 500+ farmers statewide to help them navigate new groundwater rules.
From a Tech Expo to bilingual digital-skills trainings, CAFF is helping small farmers with Tools & Skills, reaching 75+ farmers with direct technical assistance.
