CAFF is currently developing its work in this region. We are currently working on the following programs in the Sacramento area.
Farm to Market
CAFF’s work in the Sacramento Valley region provides research, education and outreach for Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) and conducts water stewardship workshops to promote on-farm sustainability. We will soon be working on a local procurement project with local hospitals.
CAFF’s advocates for policy initiatives that support family-scale agriculture, sustain local economies, and promote climate-friendly farming. CAFF also tracks legislation in Sacramento and takes position on bills of interest to our family farmer constituency.
