Farm to Market
CAFF’s North Coast region provides growers and buyers assistance in sales and marketing and works with GoLocal on branding Sonoma County agriculture.

Farm to School
CAFF’s North Coast region increases knowledge of and access to fresh, healthy, locally-grown food in school cafeterias through assisting food service authorities with local procurement and marketing, delivering Harvest of the Month Tasting Kits (HOTM) to teachers, and providing educational programs directly to students.

Program Highlights
  • HOTM brings local food/nutrition education to over 8,000 students annually. Kits contain different varieties of produce from 12 local farms.
  • Farm to Cafeteria technical assistance workshops/professional development were provided to 24 school food service staff
    and 9 farms to build capacity around local supplying and sourcing.
  • Grown Local is a partnership between Go Local – Sonoma County and CAFF to promote and support farms in connecting to local buyers, reaching nearly 484,000 residents.
