Sacramento Valley Report:

Capay Valley Vision is continuing with the Ag Roundtable Series. An event in March covered “Focus Marketing: What do consumers want?” and featured Michael Dimock talking about developing regional identity, Dan Macon sharing his research on direct marketing strategies in beef, and the produce managers for the local Nugget Market who regularly purchase from local farmers. A lively discussion indicated strong interest in connecting the Valley with this type of promotion. The Capay Valley Vision Ag Task Force is a group committed to exploring ideas about how to preserve Capay Valley Agriculture and the rural character of the region by bolstering the economic viability of its farms.
