Cost: Free Contact: Libby Earthman, 530-756-8518 ext. 12 Description: Brent Holtz, UCCE Farm Advisor (Madera) and almond farmer, will explain how shredding improves soil quality and provides nurtrients to almond orchards. TJ Gomez, Air Pollution Standards Officer, Colusa, will highlight potential upcoming changes to air quality regulations. Johnnie Siliznoff, NRCS Air Quality Specialist, Fresno, will detail management practices for air quality improvement measures. Shredding demonstration will follow presentations. Rain or Shine.
